DAY 3 GLOBAL DANCE OPEN -
Thirty-three dancers from around the world were selected from the categories of ballet, contemporary, hip hop and acro, to spend the day filming a specially choreographed piece for an upcoming promotional film.
Only three students were chosen to represent the United Kingdom, two of which were from Masters of Ballet Academy; Bruno and Tienne. We are incredibly proud of you!

We have amazing news from the Madrid Finals of the Global Dance Open!!
BRUNO IS THE WINNER OF THE DANCER OF THE GLOBE!

Our students Tienne and Bruno were nominated for the Dancer of the Globe award. During Day 2 of the competition, they participated in a Workshop with other 14 Finalists which was taught by Pamela Levy, ballet teacher from American Ballet Theatre, and Johannes Hartl, contemporary teacher from Iwanson International. The class was also judged by a panel of 5 international school directors.

We are delighted to announce that our students have been awarded the following accolades on day one of the GDO Finals in Madrid:

Junior Ballet Solo Repertoire Boys:
Bruno -1st place Gold medal

Junior Solo Ballet Repertoire:
Shio - 3rd place Bronze Medal

Intermediate Solo Ballet Repertoire:
Milan - 2nd place Silver medal
Emma - 4th Place

Junior Solo Ballet Repertoire Upper Division Demi pointe -
Tienne 5th place

Intermediate Solo Ballet Repetoire Upper Division -
Jiah 2nd place Silver medal

It was lovely to have our students, parents, and special guests reunited on the 9th of July to celebrate the end of the academic year, at the Place Theatre, with a Class Concert & Gala Presentation. Well done to our students for the beautiful performances!
