News for September 2022

Press Call and First Night for our two casts of children performing in “Giselle” with the fabulous United Ukrainian Ballet!

UNITED UKRAINIAN BALLET: Consisting of artists from the national theatres of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa and others, each member has their own story of how they reached safety to join the Company. The personal journeys of the dancers and their homeland, and the urgency of the ongoing crisis, resonate powerfully with Giselle’s timeless themes of love, betrayal, death and mercy. They unite under the roof of the prestigious London Coliseum for one week only in a new and unique interpretation of the great romantic ballet.

Wishing you all success, commitment and fun in this new school year!
Our classes will resume in a week, on the 12th of September, and we're looking forward to welcoming you back to our studios.
To our leavers, of whom we are so proud, we would like to wish you all the best in your new schools: John Cranko (Stuttgart, Germany), White Lodge RBS, Akademie de Tanzes Mannheim (Mannheim, Germany), SLK Ballet (NY, USA) and Conservatório Annarella (Portugal). See you soon!

Last month, our Artistic Director Elena Glurjidze was a guest teacher at the Royal Ballet School Summer Intensive. Elena, as always, was thrilled with the opportunity to teach these young and talented students in the Royal Ballet Upper School studios in Convent Garden again this Summer.
